Susanne Young, CHC

VP of Risk Management

Susanne Young currently serves as Vice President of Risk Management and Corporate HIPAA Privacy Officer for Vivant Behavioral Healthcare.  Over her 30-year career, Susanne has gained experience across the behavioral healthcare industry, including in direct care, facility management, admissions, legal and risk, and clinical operations.  During the past 15 years, Susanne has led compliance and risk initiatives across the behavioral healthcare continuum of care.

Susanne has her Associate’s degree in Applied Sciences as well as certifications as a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) and in Healthcare Risk Management.  In addition, she has a certification as a Vocational Specialist in Human Services – Mental Health specialization.
